Nora Tinholt (Holland) is a multidisciplinary artist, passionate about puppetry, mime, Visual Art and Performance Art. She trained in these different disciplines at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam (Fine art and performance), at the LASSAAD International School in Brussels (Lecoq pedagogy), and at Studio MAPA in Haarlem. She also discovered the work and techniques of puppetry with Philippe Genty in Paris, and Bunraku with Kanroku-san in Osaka, Japan. For more than two years she has been combining her different practices with the Snowapple collective, a group of artists mixing music, theatre and performance whose shows are created and distributed between Amsterdam, Paris and Mexico City. She also works within the Duda Paiva Company as an actress and puppeteer since 2018. She has always been interested in working internationally and meeting new ways of creating, and has already had the opportunity to perform in Europe, Mexico and South Africa.
