Nathália Mello (Brazil, 1984) is a researcher in the field of the performative arts. She is interested in opening glades from which networks may sprout. Her practice involves listening animalistically to movement and making spaces for flowing to turn into learning, translating and respect. Observation, improvisation and caring are currently key words. Art teacher to SEND students at Impington Village College (Cambridge) and Visual Culture lecturer at UWE (UK). She has a PhD in Arts – Contemporary Artistic Processes (UERJ 2017), a Master’s in Arts – Performance Arts (Laban 2011), a postgrad in Dance Studies (Laban 2009) and is a Theatre Director graduated (UFRJ 2007).
