In this, the sixth edition, we decided to create a new name for the festival, a name  that would reflect in some way the essential character of the event and that will remain the same in future editions. The chosen name is FEM. FEM es FEMenine and FEM in Catalan means "we do/we make". This change of name coincided with the decision to develop the theoretical programme that runs parallel to the performance events in conjunction with the Chair of Contemporary Art and Culture at the University of Girona.

Six women artists came to Girona present their work in the Cultural Centre La Mercè and in the University of Girona. Alongside the performance programme we also organised workshops with the artists for students, conferences, presentations by the artists and a round table discussion directed by the Chair of Contemporary Art and Culture in Girona University.
