In the fourth edition of FEM, we chose the title Ethics and Action to examine the contradiction between values and behavior, between morals and facts. The festival moved from la Bisbal to the Cultural Centre la Mercè in Girona, where six artists were invited to work simultaneously in different spaces. In addition to the on-site actions, we offered a programme of workshops for young people.
The participating artists were: Elisa Andessner (AT), Irma Optimist (FI), Kira O’Reilly (IRL), Yolanda Peréz (ES) Rabab Ghazoul (IQ) and Roxana Polpelka (ES). A small exhibition of photographs of works by women was held at la Mercè in collabroation with Arxiu Aire
Montse Seró directed the first workshop for children at the municipal art school in Girona.
