Jordi Lafon (Barcelona, 1967) lives and works in Vic. He is a visual artist with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, founder of Deriva Mussol with Eva Marichalar-Freixa. He collaborates with the University of Vic and the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny de Vic, and is an associate member of PAAC, Plataforma Assembleària d’Artistes de Catalunya of which he was a member of the executive board from 2016 to 2018, and also cooperates with ACVic, Centre d’Arts Contemporànies as a vocal member of H, Associació per a les Arts Contemporànies de Vic, the entity that manages it. In his work he establishes a relationship between objects, people and their environment to create a relationship of matter, space and time, inscribed in a landscape understood as a stage for actions where relationships of affection and conflict, poetry and politics emerge. He often organizes his works in the form of an archive or collection, where qualities such as order, disorder, rhythm, chance and chaos emerge. In his projects he also proposes the act of walking, participation and collaboration as a means of exchange and learning, sharing different experiences with projects such as: Caminar el Perímetre, Mirar Lluny, Cercar l’escenari, PAIC (Participatory, Artist, for Invisible Community), Tela Per Fer, El relat d’una exposició, Com una Cadira, Caminants, Bales dins d’un marge, I Love La Mina, Els bastons d’Andrés, Cercar l’escenari, Relleus, Caminar amb el pare, Marges i Fronteres, Goula.
